By now, most small businesses have heard about or are looking for an integrated
communications solution that provides advanced calling features, private messaging,
and audio and video conferencing to simplify and streamline their sales, marketing and
support efforts. There are consumer apps like Skype, FaceTime and WhatsApp, but
they don’t provide a professional appearance and are missing important team
collaboration features or the ability to make calls to and from regular phone numbers.
And there are Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) services that do, but they
are too expensive and too complicated to setup and manage, and require hardware
purchases. So what is a small business to do? This is why we created Airtouch.

Airtouch Benefits

● Top 10 advanced calling, messaging, and collaboration features for professionals
● Easy onboarding for your team and no hardware purchases or long-term
contracts
● Simplified prepaid pricing and billing model so you know and can control your
spend

Airtouch is Built for the Modern Small Business

Instead of expensive, stationary desktop IP phones, users download the free
AirtouchOne iOS or Android apps to their phones. All the advanced calling features are
available right away with no additional configuration on the apps.

The primary user of the account, usually the business owner, manages the account
and invites other members of the organization or team from the primary user portal
and selects a plan and a few optional advanced features or additional bundles of calling
or texting minutes. Onboarding both the primary user and other users is very easy and
fast. You and your team will be up and going, making calls and messaging each other
and customers in a few minutes— not hours or days, and without support or IT staff
appointments.

Airtouch apps are a full-featured 4-line business class phone. This means that if you
are on a call already, you can see another incoming call, hold and switch to answer the
incoming call, swap the calls, merge the calls to create a conference call, or
transfer a caller to a contact on your app contact list, an extension or another phone
number. This goes for calls to and from PSTN numbers, mobile numbers, or
organization or group extension numbers.

Soon, we will be adding the ability to program speed dial and busy lamp field (BLF)
numbers on the iOS, Android and web apps. This way, you can program a key on the
app to call your wife or your favorite deli for lunch runs. Or program a key to monitor or
take calls from another extension in the office or across the world. When that number is
busy you will see it on the button you programmed. If that extension rings but is not
being answered, you can pickup the call. If the call is put on hold, you can pick it up to
help your team member.pick up

For the times you are sitting by your desktop or laptop computer, there is a web app
that pairs to each user’s device. This means that when you login to the web app using
your mobile number and password, your contacts and messages are all there, too. The
web app can be used to call or message other members of your team or organization
on any device with all the same features so there is no additional training required. In
addition, you can invite your partners, customers or others to a video call by sending a
link via email, SMS/MMS, or other common communications channels. The web app
also supports screen sharing so you can make presentations or do product demos, too.

Advanced Features for Larger or Multiple-location Businesses

Even a small business may have multiple locations or need multiple groups. Airtouch
has advanced features to support these deployment models. The groups feature allows
you to create a group for multiple locations or teams. Members of that group will have
both their extension and Airtouch number, and can easily switch between them in the
apps, but also have a shared group number. The group number is shared with all the
members of that group so inbound and outbound calls to this number will ring to and
from the group number.

This is also the case with SMS/MMS and messaging from the group number. So
imagine that you have Sales or Support groups setup, you could advertise a direct
sales number for your customers and when a customer calls or texts, it will ring or
message all the members of that group. And when a member of the Sales group calls
or texts a prospect or customer, the caller ID is shown so customers know who’s calling
or can return the call or message to the Sales group. Depending on the plan the
primary user selects, they may have no groups or one or more groups. There is a
plan for everyone.

There are several other more advanced features that Airtouch provides for larger
offices. One is the ability to transfer the primary user privileges to another user to
access the extension list feature on the primary user portal. Here, an office manager
can see the status of all the extensions and calls, answer calls, then manage the calls
just like a UCaaS system’s operator console.

Airtouch is Forward-looking

Small businesses have constantly been left behind when it comes to new
communication and collaboration technologies but our mission is to help you keep pace
or beat your larger competition to the punch. For example, you may have heard that
Apple will soon add RCS (or Rich Communication Services) support to replace the
“green bubbles” of SMS and MMS. How will you keep up with or beat your larger
competitors to meet your customers? We have you covered. And you will start hearing a
lot about secure messaging solutions like E2EE (or end-to-end encryption) for your
internal and external messaging services. That’s coming to Airtouch, too. And we have
a lot of other exciting and useful updates or features planned for the coming year.
