Security, Privacy and Protected Communication

Airtouch® values your safety and privacy

We safeguard the security and compliance of private communications of our customers. We don’t read or listen to any of your chats and calls. Our system does not allow us to read your personal chats contents (including one-on-one chats and group chats) or listen in on your audio or video calls. Your private and group communications are completely secured so that only you and the people you’re talking to can read or hear them. Chat services use X.509 public key encryption and certificates. Again, very difficult to compromise. Airtouch® account authorization system uses secure, one time use tokens. No account information is visible. WebRTC and SIP technologies are combined to provide the different services. WebRTC audio and video uses 2048-bit DTLS HTTPS encrypted tunnels. They cannot be reasonably broken with today’s technology.

Nothing you share is stored on Airtouch®’s server once delivered. In fact, the messages you send make their way from your device to the recipient in a fully encrypted tunnel. If the recipient’s phone is off or they don’t have an internet connection, for example, your message will wait patiently on Airtouch®’s server for a limited time—still safe and encrypted—until their device is available and online to receive and decrypt it. Most importantly, Airtouch® doesn’t have access to the content of your chats or files—which means nothing you share can be used to target you with ads later. We are a communications service, not an ad vendor. Airtouch®’s policy guarantees that we don’t sell your private information. And since we don’t have access to the contents of your chats, the contents stay private. So, you can be sure you won’t mysteriously see ads related to something you were just talking or chatting about with a friend on Airtouch®
